Picture and Gravestone of Erhard Lentz who was a Drummer Boy for Napoleon at Waterloo.  He is buried in the  Lentz Cemetery in Woodland, Iowa, which is east of Leon, Iowa.  Treulia Jane Gammon and Mrs. Walter Campbell (Delilah Elvira [Ella] Gammon) are the Great-Granddaughters of Erhard Lentz.

Doll belonging to Winslow C. Morris at age two.  He had the doll with him on the train when Treulia J. Morris took him from Leon, Iowa to Lamar, Colorado in 1917.
  Leslie and Treulia Morris adopted him short thereafter.

The date 1907 on photo is probably incorrect.  Hershel who is in the buggy was not born until January 1908.  Photo was probably taken in 1909 or 1910.

  1. My name is Patrick Sheldon and I reside in Lincoln, NE. My Great Grandfather was Lucius Wakefield Lee Gammon who is pictured in the "Gammon boys" photo. Lucius had one son and three daughters. His son Martin K. Gammon, also known as Grover, was my Grandfather and his daughter Dorothy Madge Gammon my mother. Martin also had a son Martin who had two daughters. Thank you so much for sharing a picture of my Great-grandfather as a boy with his seven brothers. Pat

  2. Patrick Sheldon: Martin K. Gammon was most likely the father to my step grandfather Martin K. Gammon Jr. (Mike) who married his second wife Harriet McKinney which is my blood grandmother. Mike Jr. had a son and two daughters. I remember the son's name was Skip I believe. Daughters might be Sonja and Donna Rae. somewhere is a Laura.   4. My maiden name was Ellenberger, I am the eldest grand-daughter of Wendell Morris Ellenberger, Great Grand-Daughter of Zoma (Morris) and Floyd Ellenberger.
